What we are:
A warm & welcoming community for all those looking to add new friends into their lives. It doesn't matter whether you have lost touch with your high school or university friends, whether the kids are now finally in school, whether you are new to the city or new to Canada, newly single or newly coupled, separated, divorced, or retired. If you are at a stage in life where you would like to expand your circle of friends, then I want this to be the group for you!
What this group is not -
1. This is not a business. I am not doing this to make money and as such events will be free or of nominal charge (if required by the venue).
2. - Meetup does NOT equal "hookup" - at least not in this group. This is a couple-friendly, kid-friendly, family-friendly kind of group. Good clean fun for big kids of all ages. (Except for the drunken karaoke nights.....)
What kind of events can you expect? - Active and diverse. Expect a broad range of events, so there is something for everyone to enjoy, have some fun and meet awesome new friends. Physical, intellectual, artistic, cultural, but most of all fun and interactive so we can all get to know each other.
