Welcome to the Innovation Generation (iG), where smarter networks spark brighter innovation.
About us
Each mobile generation delivers more—data, devices, efficiency, opportunity. But tapping into the full potential of Telco networks requires a shift in thinking, focusing not simply on what networks can do today, but what we can build with them tomorrow. At Capgemini, we see networks as both the backbone of operations and the digital foundation from which innovation flourishes. It is at this intersection where we meet clients, helping them conquer complexity and inefficiency to unlock the next generation of digital solutions that can accelerate transformation.

Our #telco leader Praveen Shankar shares some key takeaways from #DTW in Copenhagen https://lnkd.in/dJ_3CzuW
Fantastic week at #dtw in Copenhagen – great energy, collaboration, innovation and ideas again this year. It was excellent to meet with clients, partners and Capgemini colleagues…and exchange ideas. The insights from TM Forum's talks and sessions were thought provoking. My key takeaways: 1. AI Native Telco – This was a prominent feature across all tracks. TM Forum’s theme for DTW Ignite, emphasized the need to reimagine the end-to-end Telco operations as AI-native. Great to see that the use cases were having a good balance of cost reduction and growth. To stay competitive, the Telecom industry must move from ambition to large scale execution in this area. 2. Autonomous Networks – Networks, the most important asset of Telecommunications, is being reimagined to operate seamlessly without human intervention - automatically responding to increased demand, adapting to failures with corrective measures, and reconfiguring when necessary…helping lower operational costs while improving performance. Great to see the progress in realising this vision. 3. Ecosystems – The business systems are becoming even more complex. The requirement is now to become more agile with a plug and play ecosystem and increase flexibility across all areas. Building deep partnerships to form an efficient ecosystem is not an option and TM Forum's Open Digital Architecture (ODA) was in focus here. The above are very much aligned to Capgemini Telecommunication team’s drive around iG (Innovation Generation), launched this year, that underscores the importance of agility and innovation, unlocking the value of technology and AI to accelerate transformation and growth…beyond just focusing on the next “G” network. Congratulations to Nik Willetts and the entire TMF team for this successful event. Thanks to our Capgemini team, especially Julia von Both for leading this from our side. Hello from Copenhagen! We’re looking back at three exhilarating days at the Digital Transformation World (DTW) packed with inspiring talks, meeting clients and partners and enjoying the buzz on the show floor. As always, it was excellently organized by TM Forum catering to all our needs in a scandic “hyggelig” manner and bringing together the voices of the #telco industry to discussing the most trending topics around driving growth with #GenAI & #AI, gaining speed with #AutonomousNetworks and becoming more agile with the growing ecosystem. We’ve enjoyed many riveting conversations and excellent coffee at our Capgemini Café, listened to the inspiring session moderated by Camille Juguet on “How GenAI enhances #CustomerExperiences to drive Business Growth” and enjoyed the relaxed networking #dtw is always offering. Thank you TM Forum, we’ll be back soon! DTW - Ignite Praveen Shankar || Yannick Martel || Jacques Assaraf

Celebrating a very successful first day and evening at DTW - Ignite Copenhagen with our esteemed partner Google Cloud. Together we aim to advance the future of the #Telco industry through smart technologies that will enable growth, #innovation and evolution. At DTW, our team is taking time to connect and network with inspiring industry executives and technology leaders who will be instrumental in transforming the industry and unlocking the full potential of #Telco networks through #GenerativeAI. Together, we enjoyed a memorable, multi-course dining experience, capping off a day full of highlights while laying plans for the future. Looking forward to our continued endeavors with Cedric Parent and Jen Hawes-Hewitt to explore the future of tech, data and Generative AI/ML within the Telco industry and beyond. There are two primary aspects to be an AI-native telco. ➡️The first aspect involves the deliberate application of AI within the organization. This means that #AI is not merely an add-on or an afterthought: it is a fundamental part of the organization’s operations, and for established telcos this will require radical transformations. ➡️The second aspect involves using AI to develop new services and augment existing ones. In essence, AI as a mean to generate new revenue streams. In this blog, our SMEs Camille Juguet and Yannick Martel share an overview on 'embedding AI in all aspects of a telco’s operations' and 'developing new services and revenue streams with AI. 📘Also, flip through to learn about some global examples of AI native companies here: https://bit.ly/45zludC Heading to #DTW24? We know #AutonomousNetworks are the direction the market is heading. The businesses that choose to wait until autonomous networks are the norm will only enjoy incremental gains alongside every other competitor and blend into the crowd. So, to get ahead, where should communications service providers (#CSPs), vendors and technologists begin in their journey to unlock the many advantages of autonomous networks? The answer is: lead with deep tech. In this insightful blog, Cambridge Consultants Stephane Remy, MIET talks about how deep tech offers you an invaluable commercial advantage with unique, cutting-edge technology: https://bit.ly/4bPOUXe Chris Wright || Derek Long || Ehsan Dadrasnia Nouri, Dr.-Ing., MBA || Arun Santhanam || Praveen Shankar || Alessandro Puglia

Is it possible for a company to gain full visibility of all proprietary assets through a single system? The answer is yes: Capgemini helped build INWIT S.p.A. an asset management tool based on Sitetracker technology to standardize, simplify, and optimize #data retrieval in a single repository. An important collaboration that leverages the latest technological trends and will make decision-making processes even more efficient. The operating model of networks is undergoing a generational shift, from one managed by human operators, to an #autonomous one centered around #AI and #data. While this shift requires significant investment, #telcos should welcome it, because through #AutonomousNetworks, they can reduce costs, increase efficiency, and contribute to a more #sustainable future.
