2024 NFL Draft Takeovers
Welcome to Mobile Mondays with YinzCam. 📲
Each Monday, we'll bring you a success story in the space of mobile apps for sports and live events. We'll share how our clients inspire us with their creativity, and dive into a data nugget, a user experience, a best practice, a client case study, a product launch, or a milestone. 🚀
The NFL Draft is one of the largest offseason events in sports and one of our peak-traffic times of the year at YinzCam.
For the 2024 NFL Draft, we went all in on freestyling. We started by utilizing our own Sandbox app and then began working with 21 of our NFL clubs to freestyle their apps, giving their fans a redesigned and refreshed look….. and, yes, just for the Draft
We also designed and launched a new YinzCam Card to display draft picks and round numbers, with the pick status (upcoming, on-the-clock) and selections automatically updating through the NFL Football API.
If we can make it a YinzCam Card, we will. And we did.
These apps employed the full power of our Cards platform, including modals, Draft-specific media carousels, player pages, HTML cards, and supporting brand elements, along with our new dynamic card driven by the NFL Football API.
We want to send a massive shout-out to all of the clubs that collaborated with us on their elevated mobile experiences for the NFL Draft.
