Jitterbit’s Message Queue Service, built into Harmony, is a cloud-based, multi-tenant message queue service that provides an easy way to create and manage message queues, takes away all the underlying complexity of configuring and managing the backend infrastructure of message queues, and simplifies the management of complex, automated business workflows to support asynchronous processing.

The benefits and capabilities of Jitterbit’s MQ Service include:
- Guaranteed delivery: native capability utilizing explicit ‘acknowledgments’ or dedicated retry queues
- Asynchronous APIs: 202/Accepted response along with a tracking ID (paired with a synchronous API to retrieve the payload once ready, and/or a webhook to be notified once ready)
- Message throttling: ability to cope with peaks in transactional volume while safeguarding against backpressure & honoring downstream system constraints
- Push Queues: Listen to (poll) specific queues and send push notifications to drive even
