What does it take to be a Recruitment Consultant? Whilst me and Michael Treharne were delivering Personal Development Plans yesterday, we covered what it takes to be a Recruitment Consultant: Admin - This involves ensuring all workers are fully compliant ✅, all hours are input correctly and ensuring all candidates are paid correctly, creating Timesheets etc Recruitment (of course) - Finding the right people for the right roles. Not just sending anyone across but ensuring that they have the skills for that role, the hours suit them, they can get there and they are actually showing an interest in the job. Account Managing - Always ensuring the client is being looked after. All clients prefer different Account Managing and it is ensuring they are happy with their service, completing regular service reviews to see if there is anything they would like you to change. Business Development - This can be with your current clients and growing that account or reaching out to similar Industries to see if they require support. This can be daunting at first but you will grow confidence and it will help if you back the service your providing!
