Nope, you're not seeing double! 👀 Twin brothers Jamil and Jalal P. are both United pilots. For their first-ever flight working together, they surprised a special guest with a ticket: their father. Talk about a proud dad moment. 💙 Read their story: uafly.co/4eJoGHF

Once in a while you'll come across those images/stories that just touch you deeply. Images like these pierce deeply into the community and inspire the youth, if not everyone. As someone related to a Captain at United Airlines (UA) this hits home. Maybe, a flight deck picture someday at UA. Way to inspire us United Airlines!

This is such a feel good story! If you have a minute give it a read....if you don't have time for the full article, I pasted some content that tugged on my heartstrings below. First this: "The moment was really special for their dad, who had never flown on a commercial plane piloted by his sons. The Miami flight route also held nostalgic value, as the Paul twins had flown with their father on this very route when they were just four years old, which was their first-ever flight." Then this: "The brothers said at first, their dad was “astounded and confused” as to why he was boarding an airplane. However, once he got onboard, looked toward the flight deck, and saw his sons, there was instant joy and excitement for an experience described as being a ”blessing beyond imagination.” There's more: "This Father’s Day was Gerald’s first without his father, who passed away earlier this year, so the chance to spend the day with his sons, flying together, made the occasion even more meaningful for this family." And then THIS: “I’m so proud of my sons,” said Gerald Paul. “They wanted to fly planes since they were little boys. I’m grateful they are living their dreams.” This is so sweet my teeth hurt!! Well done, gentlemen!

What an unforgettable family moment in the skies! ✈️💙

Not the same Jamil, but this is very motivating as someone working towards their Pilot certificates!

Just so cool! United hired identical twin sisters in the 90's. #pilots

"United Airlines, what a heartwarming story! Jamil and Jalal P.'s journey as twin pilots is truly inspiring and a testament to the family values and dedication that define your team. This moment is not just special for their father, but for all of us who value the human connections behind every flight. Highlighting such personal and emotional stories enhances your brand's authenticity and aligns with the industry's shift towards more personalized and meaningful customer engagement. I'd be interested in hearing more about how United is fostering such connections within its workforce and with passengers. Kudos to everyone involved!"
