Seven is thrilled to welcome Kayla Mills and Dylan Te Patu , who have joined us as part of Seven’s new Broadcast Technician and Operations Trainee program.
Over the next two years, Kayla and Dylan will undertake a program of TAFE study and rotations through various operational areas at Seven in Sydney, including Master Control, Technical Director, Media Operations, Studio Floor, Control Room, Field Operations, and Engineering and Maintenance.
Working alongside seasoned professionals and mentors, Kayla and Dylan will gain hands-on experience while maintaining the systems and infrastructure that keep Seven on air.
As part of the program, Kayla and Dylan will also have the opportunity to work on some of Seven's biggest productions, including Home and Away, 7NEWS, Sunrise, and key sporting events. And they'll be learning in one of the most exciting new facilities in Australian broadcasting, with Seven's flagship studios at South Eveleigh set to become the new home of 7NEWS, Sunrise, and The Morning Show later this year.
We're proud to support the development of new talent in the broadcast operations field, and we look forward to seeing Kayla and Dylan thrive in their roles.
If you're interested in applying for Seven’s Broadcast Technician and Operations Trainee program, stay tuned for details of our mid-year intake later this year!
