Mr Beast has seen success launching dubbed videos in multiple languages - His Spanish channel has 27M views this month. Do you think creators will be using programs like this to launch their vlogs & VODs to wider audiences? It doesn't perform perfectly in every environment but is only getting better. I have noticed some people using software like this on TikTok and people in the comments haven't been saying anything about AI. #influencermarketing #digitalmarketing

How the hell can I compete with this?!?? 🤯 I'm putting a lot of time into being a better speaker (and communicator, listener, debater). That's real, no-cut videos (warts included) and podcast interviews where I get to meet amazing people. Meanwhile TikTok have released lifelike avatars that can speak in different languages, appear in different places and with generative AI be an expert in almost anything... So how the hell do we ALL compete with this? Well, it's simple. #IRL. Nope, not the sticker on the back of my Irish car I drive through Europe (well also this), but I'm talking about "in real life". What will AI mean for humanity? More humanity. The pandemic took us a different direction, but with the pending onslaught of fake voices and now fake people, it's going to obviously be difficult to track who's real and who's not. Trust will be more difficult (it should be already). The answer will be in proving you're real, through our tech (our 3D selfie cams will be confirming us as such as we join Zooms etc.) and our real world connections will become even more important. On that note, 3Advance is celebrating a birthday party next week in Arlington, VA! If you're in the DC area, hit me up and I'll try to squeeze you in. ;)

YouTube has recently been testing a few new features. First, YouTube has been testing the ability to skip to the most engaging part of a video through utilizing AI, which considers the parts of a video that are most watched. So users wouldn't have to fast forward through the whole video, but could just skip to the "best" or most relevant parts (such as the actual how-to part of a how-to video). And second (and likely good for creators), YouTube has been testing the ability to segment viewer retention stats. Have you met AI Li Nanxing? Celebrities in Singapore are now using AI avatars to revolutionize live stream shopping. Live streaming has become an increasingly popular and lucrative marketing channel! One or two hours can generate serious sales (think five figures!), with hosts taking a healthy 30% cut. But finding the right host is a challenge. If you're thinking of hiring a local celebrity, they come with a hefty price tag (think $2,000-$8,000 per hour!). Here's where things get interesting: AI avatars. Imagine a digital clone of your favourite celebrity, ready to host live streams for a fraction of the cost. Brands can leverage these avatars for month-long campaigns at the same price they'd pay for a single celebrity hour. Sounds like a win-win, right? But the question remains: Will people respond to AI avatars the same way they do to real celebrity hosts? While the novelty factor may initially draw attention, the long-term effectiveness of AI avatars in live streaming will likely depend on several factors: Realism: How closely can the AI avatar mimic the appearance, voice, and mannerisms of the celebrity? Interactivity: Can the AI avatar engage with the audience in real-time, answering questions and providing personalized responses? Authenticity: Will audiences perceive the AI avatar as a genuine representation of the celebrity, or will they view it as a gimmick?
