One of the biggest misconceptions... Do you agree??
This reminds me of a time when I worked with a colleague who rarely spoke up in meetings. She listens and observes and she was actually our team’s secret weapon. Her calm and thoughtful approach often led to the most innovative solutions. True strength isn’t always loud, and silence often holds more power than we realize.
I have increasingly found that the older (and hopefully) wiser I become, the less I open my mouth and the more I listen. When i first entered the business world, I protected my lack of confidence by opening my mouth ALOT more. To some extent I agree with the statement, but strength is also speaking up when you feel the urge to remain quiet.
So true - Empty vessels make the most noise 👌

I SWAER!!!
Absolutely 👏🏻
I think this is literally the worst way to judge a situation. ADHD people are loud, extroverts are loud. Sometimes silence does mean the person has nothing to add. Listen and understand the context of what one is saying. Then make your judgement. This comparison is so outdated it’s not funny.
Would not assume either and it is a bit more complicated than possibly being the other way around.

5dExactly that Steven Bartlett!! Sometimes the strongest people I’ve ever known or worked with are actually humble, quiet and very strong, busy working or owning their own businesses, literally curing cancer or flying around the world for other good causes, and some of the least people in the know sometimes can be quite ignorant, arrogant, speak loudest, or talk too much and not know properly when to listen carefully to other people - and when to speak things that are relevant and true. There is a big difference, and sadly a knowledge gap. Being closed minded limits learning, growth, and opportunities, and also noted that ignorance is not bliss. It actually causes problems for people if left unchecked. Bernard Toney Jr. Jahmaal Marshall Melissa Cohen Sally Wolf Denley W. McIntosh, MTS, PMP, B.Eng James Sampson
