Another great review for Mattson Resources - check out more from clients and candidates at - Mattson Google Reviews Here are my thoughts - I would recommend working with Mattson Resources because the service feels like a “true partnership!” The follow-up from Executive Recruiters is consistent, but not overwhelming. There seems to be a good balance and mix of “checking in” “requesting updates” “providing a sense of urgency/attention” and “recalibrating” as needed! Executive Recruiters are professional and present quality prospects. They seem to understand not only the roles, but our company culture. Generally – Really good “back & forth” communication. Again, it feels like “side-by-side” efforts. Get the sense that Executive Recruiters care and it’s not just about running people through the recruiting process…only to try to make a future backfill. I believe there is a mutual sense of trust, and this takes time and effort to build. The relationship is positive!

I'd bet that every big tech company has made millions of dollars off of a campaign that had a conversion rate of 2% or less 👇🏻 What's this have to do with your job search? Don't send out 10 cold messages to hiring managers, not get any responses, and then say "this doesn't work." Step 1 is to take action. Identify the hiring manager and send the message. You already nailed this step ✅ Step 2 is to tweak your messaging to ensure it's tailored and relevant to what the hiring manager cares about 🎯 If you're unsure about your messaging, ask a friend who works at a company you're interested in. Step 3 is to not give up because the first 10 people didn't respond. Keep going across a large enough sample size for it to work (100+ people) 📈 Your conversion rate might only be 2%. That doesn't mean that it's not working. In fact, it's means you're right on track. So keep sending those messages. You got this 💪🏻📬

You know, when you save a job to apply to later… and then you finally get home, open up your computer, and discover the job closed before you could get to it. 🫣 Tips for applying for jobs on your phone: ✒️ Use the Google drive app to house your resume(s) for easy access and editing. ✒️ Set up push notifications for your favorite job platforms - this includes turning on story notifications for Nurse Fern so you know when we’ve updated the job board. ✒️ Take advantage of application shortcuts to simplify the process like “use last application” or autofill.

I reached out to 100+ people in February. How many responded? 🤔 It’s the first week of March so time to share some data about February. The majority of my work these days is talking to people. Mostly, I reach out in cold. As I shared before, my primary goal is to get feedback on our product. There are two ways: ✅ Learning about the pain points of recruiters and their current processes ✅ Letting recruiters use our platform on a real project, and get feedback after Here are some stats: ➡️ 100 LinkedIn invitations to connect ➡️ 60 accepted the request ➡️ 10 agreed to have a call and give feedback ➡️ 8 saw our demo ➡️ 6 agreed to launch Taita as a pilot in their company and give feedback on the performance 🎉 10% conversion rate to have a call and a 6% conversion rate to agreeing to [NOT LAUNCHING!] a free pilot and giving feedback after. 100 is a good number, easy to calculate percentages. But in March, my goal is to reach out to at least 300 people. 🤔 Also, I don’t know if my conversion rates are good or not. If you do cold outreach, what’s the response rate that you get?
