🌲 Camping Season is Here! ⛺ As we head into the great outdoors, let's do our part to prevent wildfires. Here are 10 top tips to keep your camping trips safe and memorable: 1. Check Fire Regulations and Byelaws: Always check what restrictions are in place before setting off. 2. Fire Pit: Always use designated fire areas. 3. Clear Area: Clear at least a 10-foot area around your campfire. 4. Limit Fire Size: Keep your campfire small and manageable. 5. Never Leave Unattended: Always have someone keeping an eye on it. 6. Keep Water Nearby: Always have a bucket of water and a shovel handy. 7. Extinguish Properly: Douse the fire with water, stir the ashes, and douse again until cold to touch. 8. Avoid Windy Days: Don't start a campfire on windy days when sparks can carry. 9. Safe Cooking: Use a camp stove for cooking instead of an open fire or disposable BBQ. 10. Dispose Safely: Dispose of charcoal and ashes once cold, in a safe, designated area. Let's protect our beautiful forests and enjoy camping responsibly! 🏕️🔥🌲 #WildfirePrevention

Sale Manager at Qezer Outdoor, Fosuing on affording the customized services for sleeping bags more than 10 years
How to sleep while camping in the wild?(1) 1. Choose a location close to streams, lakes, or rivers for easy access to water. But you cannot set up camp on the river beach or next to a stream. 2. When camping in the wild, you must consider the leeward problem. Especially in some valleys and river beaches, you should choose a leeward place to camp. 3. When setting up camp, do not set up camp under the cliff, as this is very dangerous. 4. If the camp is close to a village, you can ask the villagers for help if there is an emergency. This is even more important when there is no firewood, vegetables, food, etc. 5. If it is a camp where you need to stay for more than two days, you should choose a shady place to camp in good weather, so that if you rest during the day, the tent will not be too stuffy. 6. During the rainy season or in thunder and lightning areas, the camp must not be set up on high ground, under tall trees or on relatively isolated flat land.#camping #sleepingbagforadults #sleepingbag #downsleepingbagforadults #mountaing #hiking #outdoors Our website :https://lnkd.in/g_Yw4Y4w

✨ School starts in just 2.5 weeks! Here are 3 fun summer night activities to enjoy with your kiddos before the school bell rings: BACKYARD CAMPING ⛺️ This is one of our all time favorite summer activities. Camping is the perfect way to spend your summer evenings. The weather is warm enough to sleep outside and it can be a great bonding activity for your family. Pitching tents and building campfires is all a part of the camping fun! And parents, if you're worried about sending your kids off in the woods, you can do it right in your own backyard! That's right. Grab the sleeping bagsand pitch a tent for your kids right in your backyard. They'll get the outdoor camping experience while also being in the safety and security of their own yard. And of course, the only right way to camp is to have s'mores! 🔥 MOVIE NIGHT 🎥 Movie nights are perfect for every time of year! When in doubt, cook some popcorn, grab your favorite candy, and fire up a movie with the family. There's plenty of ways to make it a summer movie night. If you have a laptop or a projector, consider watching the movie outside. When I was younger, we used to project movies onto our garage and watch with the local kids. Some communities even offer movies in the park' for families to enjoy. The easiest (and yummiest!) way to jazz up your movie night is to switch your microwave popcorn to Jiffy Pop. Jiffy Pop is a popcorn that you can cook on the grill or over the fire and makes for a delicious summer snack. 🍿 FIREFLIES & STARS ✨ Catching fireflies is such a magical, ideal summer evening. Watching these glowing bugs is a classic staple of summer. If you're lucky enough to find some, these fireflies leave a golden trail as they fly around during the night. Many attempt to catch them in a jar, but if you do-let them go afterwards! Place a blanket on the grass and lay watching the stars shine through the clear summer evening. This is a peaceful and beautiful way to end a hot summer day. Make the most of these summer nights and create lasting memories! 🌟🎥🌌 #summernights #familyfun #backtoschoolcountdown #stargazing #outdoormovies #kidfriendlyactivities #williamsoncountymoms #williamsoncountyparent

Camping season has well and truly begun, and it can be a fabulous way to enjoy quality time and new adventures with your furry friend! There are of course, some things to consider, so make sure you plan ahead. The Blue Cross offers some great tips to help you organise your first camping trip with your best friend. https://lnkd.in/dciH8B-B Consider where your dog will sleep - the temperature and location of your tent. It is always a good idea to get your dog used to their new sleeping arrangements before you set off. Know your site's rules. Most sites require dogs to be on lead, and it is useful to have a means of tethering them to ensure their safety when getting on with camping activities like cooking and setting up your tent. Make sure to pack your doggy first aid kit, a comfortable harness; and ensure your dog's ID tag and microchip details are up to date. Prepare in advance, and enjoy the journey together! #campingseason #journeytogether #campingwithdogs #bluecross

New data from The Dyrt revealed an uptick in camping participation. • One in four Americans camped in 2023. • 5.5M people camped for the first time, marking 20M newbies since 2021. • One-third of first-timers were aged 18–34 Of greater interest is what’s getting them there, with motivations spanning from extra to unplugged. • 10% of campsites added glamping options. • 29.8% of campers went solo at least one time. • Remote overlanding doubled in participation. As camping becomes a go-to stress-reliever, expect both ends of the spectrum to scale up.

𝘿𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙘𝙖𝙢𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙨 ~58MM households went camping in 2022. By primary type of camping: ~52.5% tent campers ~26.3% RVers ~21.2% glamping/cabin renters By frequency of camping trip per year: ~48% @ 3+ times/year ~29% @ 2 times/year ~23% @ 1 time/year The average camper camping for 9.4 nights in 2022 translates to nearly 550MM "campsite nights," according to KOA's data. Other considerations: Various sources put the number of full-time RVers in America at over 1MM. Sources estimate there are between 1.4MM and 1.7MM RV sites in the US. This puts the RV site inventory between 59% and 71% occupied before accounting for short-term rentals. That leaves 14MM+ short-term RVers competing for nights at only 400K-700k available RV sites! Ready to make the most of your camping adventure? Here are some tips to help you enjoy a fun, safe experience: 1. Pack Smart: Bring the essentials - tent, sleeping bag, flashlight, first aid kit, and plenty of water. 2. Respect Wildlife: Our local critters love to say hi, but remember to keep a safe distance. Store food securely to avoid unwanted animal visitors. 3. Leave No Trace: Happy Place is our little slice of paradise. Help us keep it pristine by packing out all your trash and leaving nature as you found it. 4. Know the Rules: Familiarize yourself with local regulations. Some areas require permits for camping, and it’s always good to know fire restrictions to keep everyone safe. 5. Stay Safe: Always let someone know your camping location and expected return time. Cell service can be spotty, so it’s good to have a backup plan. We can’t wait to see you out there enjoying the great outdoors - share your camping pics with us using #HappyPlaceCamping 🏞️📸
