That Was One Wicked Big Storm Yesterday Jul 30, 2023 https://lnkd.in/e7r4DjGX Music: Left Alone by Ben T Brown [as featured on iPhone] Series: Gotta Move Photos/videos: Me **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** **** I saw this storm moving into the the DC from the pool yesterday. I had just finished my swim and was going to dry off on the deck. My husband and I had noticed really wacky crazy wind biking to the pool, but didn't think anything of it. Now, on the pool deck I could see the front moving in... on my right was blue sky and hardly a cloud... on my left was dark blue-green-purple solid bank of clouds with angry blots of lightening. I knew I didn't have long to make it back home before it hit but I decided to try and made it home to a very scared dog just as big fat warm drops of rain started to fall, then the wind and really close blasts of lightening and thunder. My husband got stuck at the pool, but it is indoors so he was fine. I would find out later that night listening to Hot Jazz Saturday night trees and power had gone out all over the DMV. We are always perfectly aligned for the results we get Ranjit.

I think this mindset is spot on. How can you help your internal team recharge, feel appreciated and be their best? While you ultimately have to be personally responsible for the energy you bring, we all have days/seasons where we need a bit of help. Find your people and bring the energy you want reflected back at you.

An important reminder that understanding the human condition is the single most important aspect of leadership.
