One of the things I don’t agree with my that most businesses do is… The size of the gifts a vendor/provider will send is based on the amount of business they get. Many will send the top 10 a luxury gift like a wine basket or tickets to a ballgame, but the bottom 10 may only get a Christmas card. I treat EVERY client the same, regardless of the amount of business that we do. Whether we do 3 loads a month or 10 loads a day, my attention to my client's business is the same. Same way with appreciation and holiday gifts. If I’m buying a $500 gift for my #1 account, my bottom account is getting a $500 gift. I can show you numbers where clients were once low margin and little revenue is now the top 5. One client comes to mind where in 2023 I banked 177K and margins were north of 26%. If you love your kids the same and you do your best to treat them the same, then there is no reason not to treat your clients the same. Because… That’s where the real magic happens.
