However, a bit alarming that the 3 priorities for Ecopreneur.eu - The European Sustainable Business Federation were not even on the list and hardly touched upon this morning: 1. We proudly announce the release of our First Sustainability Report. The document outlines commitments to strengthen our sustainability strategy, sets clear targets and identifies the issues where we can have the greatest impact. The Sustainability Manifesto summarizes our purpose: Together for Positive Impact. Our approach to sustainable positive impact has people at its heart – whether in creating healthier products for consumers, supporting the equitable development of people in our company and community, or offering smart and sustainable solutions to our customers. We see education as key to inspiring action, working together to bring positive impact. As Group CEO Massimo Garavaglia states, "I believe the motto of our sustainability strategy – Together for Positive Impact – points to the greatest opportunity we have. Only together can we make meaningful progress in tackling the biggest sustainability issues of the day." Our strategy is built on established best practices across the Group and outlines roadmaps for three pillars that we consider as priority issues for sustainability within our sector. Really Interesting to read this year’s Sustainability Report from Compass Group following my Corporate Governance and Ethics Module last semester where I looked in to the ethics of Compass regarding the social and environmental effects of Food Waste.
