I was thinking back to the pandemic – the world shrunk and grew at the same time. Many of us could count our in-person interactions on one hand, yet people from all over the world were still entering agreements, forging partnerships, and leading successful companies, all via Zoom. It was a time that showed our collective resilience and strength, but it also highlighted the value that in-person interactions bring to our professional lives. We always say that sales is a contact sport, and while virtual meetings can still be the start of a lasting friendship, nothing compares to the conversations that happen over a Tomahawk steak and a bottle of Burgundy.
