We have been asked quite a bit recently apart from having fun what to you guys actually do? Time to set the record straight 😀 We are the IT department you need but don't have. When you have an IT issue (eg something breaks or is not doing what it should) you ring us and one of the guys on the helpdesk will jump straight on and fix the issue right there. If we need to we will jump on the motorbike, drive one of the cars, arrive by train or even cycle and head your way to fix onsite. You will not be left high and dry. If you are on one of our Support contracts we proactively monitor your systems to make sure things like viruses don't accidently get installed. If you are having memory issues on your PC or laptop or your hard drive is running out of space we will know before you do. If there is an issue we sort it before you even notice. And don't forget the awesome websites that John and Toby make for our clients. If yours need a refresh or you want a new one give them a shout as you will not be disappointed!! We will guide you on your IT journey with regards to what IT we think you should be using for your business along with fixing any issues you have along the way. #Sky #SkyBroadband customer service is stunningly bad. It is hard to overstate how little #Sky care about customers. But when you hard bake into your systems the inflexibility to do anything about the serious errors the company itself makes, then you are left with: 1. Deeply unhappy customers 2. Deeply unhappy staff having sit, neutered at their desks 3. Giving the worst possible name to the concept of Customer Service. To the Directors and Managers of Sky: you should be ashamed for drawing a salary for this.

After 41 years, PSS adopted a new #missionstatement, one more attuned to the shifts in our business that began in 2004. I am excited and also left with the question, "What do we do with this?" Original mission statement: To make the best temporary traffic control devices in the world and maintain our customers for life. We realized that not all of our products are exclusively temporary, our customer makeup was changing, and that our aspirations for positively affecting road safety necessitate extending beyond temporary traffic control devices. After 5+ years of contemplating a mission statement that would carry us another 40+ years down the road, in January, we announced to the company our new mission statement: To innovate transportation solutions that help protect workers, pedestrians, and travelers. Following the fanfare (there was not much), I am left with the questions, "Now, what? What do I do with this?"
