What I learned about content marketing from my recent trip to France: 🇫🇷 Absolutely nothing. I did not think about work once. I ate bread and cheese, drank coffee and wine, walked a bajillion kilometers, marveled at the public transit, and practiced (poorly) speaking French. Of course a marketer’s brain is never completely on vacay mode so I also took note of various design elements, fonts, and a total lack of billboards on the highways (bless). I considered how the country is preparing for the Olympic Games and what that means for local businesses. But I also left my laptop at home and didn’t check Slack, Basecamp, or email once. Travel is so good for the soul. Being fully present is even better. 💖 Grateful to work for a company that values and supports being fully unplugged.
I read your first line and I was like "Eh tu Lacey" lol
You lived your BEST LIFE! I can’t wait to make my way over there and do just the same thing 😍 Happy to have you back, but sad to take you away from your wine and bread 🥲
Beautiful! It's it funny how our marketing brains never completely turn off?
You deserve it, Lacey Reichwald!
Travel truly is food for the soul! So glad you got to unplug too. I've lived in 4 countries prior to settling down, traveled to many more, and visited more than 30 states. Europe was one of my favorite trips of all time and part of our honeymoon .... great food, wine, architecture, art, and fun adventures. Your photo is taking me back to those memories. 💛
Glad you took the time off and enjoyed it! Lacey!
Jealous! What an awesome trip! Glad you were able to enjoy it to the max! 🙂
You are brilliant.
I laughed. That was amazing. Love this!
