Passionate, analytically-driven, always-curious Media & Advertising Leader

The time has come to close another great chapter in my work life. Today, I say goodbye to my Samba TV friends and colleagues, capping off a fantastic career experience and education. Three years ago, I decided to pursue a career outside the agencies where I grew up. I loved my agency life – my colleagues, my clients, my mentors, and being in the middle of the action – but after 27 years, I wanted something different. Samba TV delivered on that in spades. It’s been an absolute pleasure transitioning to an Enterprise Sales leader in the Addressable, Tech, and Measurement sectors, all white hot areas in today’s advertising and media industry, and I've really enjoyed the shift in career focus. I want to thank all of my Samba colleagues, especially (no particular order) Scott Nagy, Chris McCarthy, McAdory Lipscomb, III, Penelope Welsh,Rebecca Calejo, Brett Weissbeck, Kristen Hsu, Cole Strain, Karen Biedermann, Lewis A., Tim Petrycki, Jagdip Sekhon, Tiffany Locci, Aden Zaman, Kevin DiMichele, and Samba founders Ashwin Navin and Alvir Navin - I wish you all the best in turning Samba into the huge success it is destined to be. While at Samba I’ve had the opportunity to work with Joanna Drews and the HyphaMetrics team, which has been really enjoyable. I believe wholeheartedly in what Hypha are doing with their whole home panel, I think it’s important for our industry, and I will continue to work with the Hypha team to help them make their vision a reality. As for what's next in the mid-long term, I have some interesting discussions in progress and am figuring through it all; more to come soon. A huge thank you to all my friends and colleagues in the industry, who have been generous with their time and advice – your support has been invaluable. I’ll see you all soon – whether it’s for breakfast or drinks in NYC, or maybe across the pond in Cannes next week. Magel
