Our Avnet Cares team had such a blast volunteering last week at ICAN: Positive Programs for Youth in Chandler. We helped out at their water day (obviously). It was 115 degrees outside but we cooled off fast when the kids soaked us! A big thanks to this amazing group - they were awesome! The kids had so much fun, their energy was absolutely infectious!! Volunteering has been an incredibly rewarding journey for me. It's not just about giving; it's about what you gain in return. The positive impact is profound, from a sense of purpose to personal growth. It's a constant reminder of the power of community, compassion, and the difference individuals can make when they come together for a common cause. Volunteering has enriched my life by broadening my perspective, boosting my empathy, and connecting me with wonderful people. It's a reminder that in helping others, we often help ourselves as well, and the value of giving back is immeasurable. #Volunteering #PersonalGrowth #GivingBack

**Why don't you volunteer?** Reason: Time constraints Well, life's a rollercoaster, and sometimes it feels like your strapped in for the ride without a break. Between work, family, and personal stuff, it's tough finding a spare hour, let alone a chunk of time to commit to volunteering regularly. Possible Solution: Squeeze in tiny acts of kindness whenever possible. Even if it's just lending a hand to a neighbor or chipping in during local events, these little gestures count. Plus, keep an eye out for short-term volunteer or one-off events that fit into your hectic schedule. #volunteering #serveothers
