Any words of encouragement, or connections to folks that need a problem solver are greatly appreciated! 🐿 used for main points, details by 🌰 🌰 🐿 troubleshot a hobby project involving a ruby-on-rails web service managed with docker compose and 10 ESP32 microcontrollers. The setup controls automated lighting but faced connectivity issues causing erratic lighting behavior. 🌰🌰 Inspected web service container logs and verified endpoint functionality using curl/postman. no errors or stack traces observed. 🌰🌰 Inspected logging with ESP32 devices, observed negative response codes from http client, documentation noted incomplete calls. 🌰🌰 Web-service was updating records based off ESP32 calls (despite incomplete response) so a health check on ESP32 code was added to report network connection info to the server. 🌰🌰 Expanded server code to store health check data, enabling thorough inspection of working and non-working devices. 🌰🌰 Discovered microcontroller IP addresses were outside DHCP range. Manually reserved IPs within the correct subnet, resolving the issue for now.

Interesting state of the job market now. It's a really bad time to be a senior level or executive level Dynamics CE expert. Things I have heard so far: 1. You have too much management experience 2. You are too seasoned. 3. We can't pay you what you asked, even though I have lowered by salary expectations by almost 50%. 4. And the best one... We understand you have 18 years of experience, but you don't seem to have too much hands on experience recently (I guess the 18 years do not count)? Anyway, still in the market. Since moving to Berlin, Germany, I have embarked on an incredible journey of career change from lawyer to becoming a full-stack developer. As a first step in this new path, I recently completed a 12-week Ruby on Rails full-stack web development bootcamp Le wagon in Berlin. This bootcamp was truly a life-changing event for me. During this intensive and comprehensive course, I gained hands-on experience and developed a strong foundation in HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript ES6, SQL, Git & GitHub, Heroku, and Ruby on Rails. Some of my key projects included designing, implementing, and shipping a clone of AirBnB to production, as well as developing a mobile app project, "Circular," within a two-week sprint, which significantly enhanced my teamwork, project management, and rapid prototyping skills. I am now open to work and actively seeking new opportunities as a full-stack web developer in Berlin or remotely.
