Lithium mining? The southern tip of McDermitt caldera in NE Nevada is largest lithium mine in USA. ESRB (E. Snake River Basin) is east of McDermitt caldera. “Published data show silicic activity as old as at McDermitt is also found from the Silver City area of southwestern Idaho to the Santa Rosa -Calico volcanic field in Nevada, east of McDermitt”, Researchgate, Geology and evolution of McDermitt caldera, n.
