6moConsciousness, Pattern Recognition, Problem Solving and the Scientific Method has been a challenging topic in forensic investigation. The question has alway been “what are we doing and how are we doing it?” We’ve wanted to understand the details so we could understand and mitigate noise. My informal investigation took me in this direction: “Scientific Method’s Foundation in Information Theory”. (ResearchGate) Noise and abbreviation (incompleteness) of process seems to be key as only small bits of information may be suffiencent for recognition, and only fragmented information is ever used in our conscious process. We don’t need everything… “just enough” will do better and faster.
