A simple end-of-VidCon drink with a few friends turned into what many called “The Best Party at VidCon”. No music, no glitz, no glamor, no sponsors, no agenda. Just a patio, a lawn, a bar and some appetizers. And 300 RSVPs. WTF was everyone doing still at VidCon on Saturday afternoon? I guess it was so much fun it was hard to leave! And (to paraphrase The Waitresses): “𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘺 𝘸𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘺𝘦𝘴 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘳… 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳/𝘦𝘹𝘦𝘤 𝘐’𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘬”. Thanks to the 100+ who came to our VidCon wind-down Saturday in Anaheim. And thanks to Ant McCormack, Farhad Meher-Homji, and Renee Teeley ⏩ from Changer – my partners in fun. We might just have to do it again next year. Stay tuned for more "Inside the Creator Economy" meetups this summer and fall around the world! And I’ll have more about #VidCon24 in Monday’s newsletter. What was your favorite part of VidCon this year? 👇
