Legacy SIEMs get expensive and inefficient once cloud and new age security solutions came into the picture. Adversaries know these limitations and may be attracted because of the legacy SIEM. Time to act now.
𝐀 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬- 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐒𝐈𝐄𝐌 The pricing of Legacy SIEM depends on how much data the security teams ingest. Nowadays, organizations are increasingly using the cloud, which generates massive amounts of data, thus spiking up the bill that companies have to pay for using SIEM. To save on costs, security teams are often told to ingest less data, which makes organizations more vulnerable to cyber threats, as it is this data that helps them detect threats and respond to them before it's too late. Furthermore, the data generated through the cloud is also partially incompatible with the Legacy SIEM. In today's cybersecurity landscape, legacy SIEM is fast becoming obsolete. Cloud SIEM is the need of the hour. That’s where Invinsense XDR comes into play. It is compatible with all technologies, such as Cloud, OT, and IOT. Invinsense XDR integrates EDR for endpoint protection, cloud-based SIEM, SOAR for orchestration and automation, Threat Intelligence and Threat Exchange for known and unknown threats, and case management. Together, all these form the defender's brain. https://lnkd.in/dMqbR7cP #siem #threatintelligence #edr #cloudsecurity #cybersecurity

Cybersecurity is hard, databreach is hard. Choose your hard!
Choose Your Hard! Either work with a comprehensive cybersecurity company that is an expert in both offensive and defensive security, which not only helps you identify all the weaknesses and loopholes that exist in your systems but also helps in remediation. This is going to be an arduous journey. Or Deal with the aftermath of a cyberattack where your company’s productivity is hampered due to a ransomware attack, the company’s data has been leaked into the dark web, your brand reputation is in complete tatters, and the regulators are hammering you with a big fine for lapses. There is no third choice. Cybersecurity is not an expense; rather, it is an investment, as security is paramount. If your company is not secure enough, then your employees will not be productive enough since a cyberattack will disrupt their work, and your business will never achieve stability due to continuous attacks. Cyberattacks will influence the perception of customers when they see your company name in the headlines for the wrong reasons, thus hitting your brand reputation. In the age of social media, perception is everything. Don’t focus on short-term pain; think of the long-term pain that will come if you keep postponing your cybersecurity. Infopercept is a platform-led managed security services company that will not only help your organization patch up its loopholes and weaknesses in the systems but will also ensure that it implements all the compliances as mandated by the regulators. We provide complete end-to-end security services. https://lnkd.in/dUeNBzJB #cybersecurity #cyberattack #managedsecurityservice #infopercept #invinsense

An organization is defined as the people working towards a common purpose. Our purpose is big and a leader like Antony Sir will surely help us in achieving our purpose with good technology governance in place.
𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐀𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐲𝐚 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐲𝐚, 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐌𝐫. 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐡, 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐈𝐒𝐎 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝐏𝐂𝐈, 𝐚𝐬 𝐡𝐞 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭 𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫. Since the launch of Invinsense in 2020, Infopercept Consulting has been going deeper into incorporating and consolidating more cybersecurity technologies into the platform. Today, with a single platform, we are addressing many areas of cybersecurity. We are working hard to develop cybersecurity platform innovations from India at scale. When things are developed at such a scale, one needs external and independent review to track innovations, their delivery, and the roadmap. Who better than Mr. Antony Prakash, our Independent Director, who played a pivotal role in building a robust security infrastructure to manage multi- billion transactions a month for UPI at NPCI, to review our cybersecurity innovations from the perspective of outcomes and global acceptance? What NPCI achieved with UPI security made it a globally accepted technology; we aim to do the same with Invinsense. His expertise will be of huge importance to us, not only in taking Invinsense global, but also in helping organizations running their security on Invinsense to go global. Just as in every sports game, external reviews and strategies are important to win matches, in our quest to create a global Indian Cybersecurity Company (ICC), review from an Independent Director like Mr. Antony Prakash is crucial. The occasion of Akshaya Tritiya is also very important to me personally. On this occasion, my twins were born, which was the best blessing. Today, we received similar blessings in terms of Mr. Antony Prakash helping us to expand our cybersecurity innovations from India. #entrepreneurship #Independentdirector #cybersecurity #cloudsecurity #Infopercept #Invinsense #Cybersecurityplatform #MakeInIndia

Security can be an illusion without regular offensive security. This illusion is often broken during an attack, but unfortunately it is very late. Invinsense Offensive Detection and Response (OXDR) can help.
Investing in security tools, people, and processes is beneficial, but ensuring their efficiency is crucial. Without offensive security practices, their effectiveness can only be tested during an active attack, which is not ideal. Invinsense Offensive Extended Detection and Response (OXDR) can provide a solution! https://lnkd.in/daFE_8N9

𝐀𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐧 Yesterday, I had the opportunity to meet Benita Bhatia Dua. We did not have a set agenda, but she was in Ahmedabad and we are both part of a marketing group, so we decided to meet. Initially, I thought the meeting wouldn't last long, as I have only known cybersecurity and its marketing throughout my career and it might become boring for her at some point. To my surprise, she not only has clients in cybersecurity but also is a domain expert from a marketing standpoint. Our meeting lasted for nearly 2 hours. The topics we covered included cybersecurity, how it has become ingrained in our culture and affects every aspect of our lives, and we also discussed broader topics like bootstrapped organizations, marketing struggles, the siloed nature of sales and marketing teams, the importance of target audience research, team management, and Benita's approach of truly understanding her clients' businesses and their core DNA as part of her social media strategy for them. At various points, she humbly shared her impressive achievements. I was amazed that someone who is an author of two books, a subject matter expert invited to speak at Harvard, and a brand guide for various international clients, was so willing to casually discuss her passion: the marketing world. The one line she said, "I am happy being a bootstrapped company, not because I don't like money coming in, but because I'm a social media queen and I want to run this company like one," describes her personality in the most appropriate way. Thanks, Benita for your time, it was really worth knowing you.

A very impactful PR person. If any of you are looking for someone for this role, Lesley is the person who can add tremendous value.
My time at Sophos has sadly come to an end, and I’m open to new opportunities. I’m immensely proud of helping build Sophos into the cybersecurity leader it is today. It’s been five great years and I’m forever grateful for the opportunities to learn and grow alongside some of the smartest and most talented people in the world. I’ll always treasure the relationships I’ve built. Layoffs aren’t fun, but change is good and I’m excited for my next chapter. Having a strong network of colleagues and friends is so valuable, and I appreciate any connections, leads or shares. #opentowork #cybersecurity #PR
