I guess the question I have is on the site embedding section you mentioned. So that kind of sounds like Google’s version of measuring topical authority and if each page is relevant to their main topic

The day it was said Gary Illyes & John Mueller are in fact the organ grinder's monkeys. I've never had 3 words with either because I perceived little value playing tiddlywinks w Google PR hacks. Either both are stranded in the dark on how Google actually works (doubtful) or gaslighting followed by vindictive retribution is Google's long term PR strategy, attacking good people for having the audacity to claim true things. When Frederick Vallaeys was Google Ads ambassador, we were on the podium at SMX Advanced. I asked him, "does Google literally take you down to PR and tattoo this b******* on your ass?" Today we learned the answer: Yes. I hope Danny Sullivan got a boatload of money to justify being the 3rd musketeer. Danny was very good to a number of us SEO OG helping make several careers - I dare say to an extent including Rand Fishkin's & mine Danny I know you will see this because by now Google is scrubbing every comment to try and mitigate the damage. I don't know how you do it. You once told me that every once in a while it's important to tell a search engine to "f*** off." It's probably been a long time since you did so yourself, back to SEW days. Now would be a good time ♥️. Good job Rand and Michael.
