💥 Exciting job alert! 📐 As an architect one of my favourite quotes has always been Buckminster Fuller’s “You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.” 📣 Over recent years I’ve learned that Fuller’s vision of how #systemchange happens in incomplete. Award winning leader of volunteers, Consultant volunteer engagement, International speaker, Collaborative relationship builder, Creative solution seeker, Artist
What a timely article. What are your thoughts? In summary of the article, do volunteers act as unpaid staff in roles that need to be filled on a regular basis, or hire staff for those roles and recruit volunteers for projects, special skill sets like PR or visiting or fill in the blank..... How do we navigate the changing landscape ourselves AND lead our organization’s thoughts on this as well? https://lnkd.in/e8vBxcvZ

Back in August 2023, Erik Gudmundson and I interviewed Andrea Youndt on the Start Local Podcast. Andi is the CEO of the Chester County Food Bank. She's an impressive individual and I expect from my conversation with her that her leadership helps make the food bank a great place to work. Two recommendations for you: 1) Listen 🎧 to Andi talk about the work for the food bank and her role as its CEO: https://lnkd.in/eXXMq3DD 2) If you like what you hear in the episode, consider applying for the available job position.
Are you passionate about increasing access to nutritious and familiar food and supporting your community? The Chester County Food Bank is looking for a Community Resource Associate (CRA) to join our team! As a CRA, you'll collaborate with various Food Bank teams to enhance the accessibility of nutritious food for our neighbors. This role is based at our office in Exton, PA, but will require time spent in the community providing direct support and outreach. Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred. If you're ready to make a significant impact and join a team committed to fighting food insecurity, we want to hear from you! https://lnkd.in/eFhgGvkb
