This week we are celebrating the good that is made possible by your support! In 2023, we were able to serve thousands of individuals in the community, collect over 230,000 pounds of food, and divert 50.6 million pounds from landfills. We would not be here without the support of our amazing donors, shoppers, and community! And we thank YOU for continuing to help us reach these goals in 2024🌎 #Goodwill #Goodwillmanasota #Goodwillweek

Discover a powerful initiative: People Feeding People. Today, People Feeding People remains steadfast in its mission, touching the lives of numerous individuals and families. By providing nourishment, this initiative ensures equitable access to food for all. What if, there was a natural way for one person to feed another person while they feed themselves? Wouldn't that be awesome? Instead of waiting for big organizations to make huge donations at the end of each year, what if we could make this so simple, that any everyday person, without having to pay more than what they normally would, be empowered to make a difference, 3 times a day, by making a decision to feed someone while they feed themselves? Through its dedicated efforts, People Feeding People not only combats hunger but also cultivates communities for a brighter future. #CommunityImpact #BlackFinSeafood #PeopleFeedingPeople #CommunityCelebration #BlackFinTeam #TeamAppreciation #SeafoodCommunity

At Greener Village, we're not just fighting hunger; we're transforming lives and building a stronger, more resilient community. Did you know that 10% of Fredericton's population struggles to afford food for a month or cover basic necessities year-round? Shockingly, 22.7% of New Brunswick households faced food insecurity last year alone. The impact hits close to home, with over 30% of our clients being children. Each year, we see over 60,000 visits to our services, highlighting the critical need for support. But here's where hope shines through: through our efforts, we provide an average of 125,000 meals monthly, delivered through over 2,000 grocery hampers. Together, we're making a real difference in the lives of our neighbors. Join us in the fight against hunger and help build a brighter future for all. One of the many avenues of outreach our amazing Who I Am Foundation volunteers provides is our year round Care Package Distributions to homeless and less fortunate individuals. Our distributions have been our most consistent outreach project since 2013. Our amazing Volunteers organize and execute the distributions, alternating between a mobile distribution and a stationary distribution. Currently, we are blessed with the ability to assist an average of 1,000 people per month; in multiple cities, in multiple states! Our goal with distributions since 2013, has been to provide essential necessities to those in need. Necessities that we may take for granted, are viewed as a luxury to those without. Some of the items we hand out include food, clothing, bottled waters, hygiene items, first aid supplies, socks, shoes, books, seasonal items, and lists of resources available in the area. We also utilize our time in the community, retrieving feedback of needs and issues, by those in need. Engaging with individuals, learning their stories, and providing them hope. Our distributions continually evolve. Addressing needs, while making available the proper resources. Tangible donations are the lifeblood of our distributions. Your contribution of any of the items below, help to ensure each and every distribution is effective and impactful. Learn how you can help us by donating, or volunteering, by contacting us at any time. www.WhoIAmFoundation.org #TeamWhoIAm

Compassion in Action: ATMS Shines During Good Deed Week 💫 On the 5th day of Good Deed Week, the ATMS team visited various NGOs, including schools and old age homes, to spread joy and make a difference. Our employees donated essential items such as groceries, sanitary napkins, and more, embodying the true spirit of humanity and generosity. This act of kindness taught us valuable lessons in empathy and togetherness, highlighting the power of compassion in building a better world. We are proud to share that every single ATMS member participated in this initiative, showcasing the unwavering commitment of our team to making a positive impact. Through these heartwarming acts, we've witnessed the transformative power of giving back. By extending a helping hand to those in need, we've not only uplifted the lives of others but also enriched our own perspectives and strengthened the bonds within our organization. This experience has reinforced our belief that small acts of kindness can ripple outwards, inspiring others to follow suit. Let us continue to cultivate a culture of compassion and make a lasting difference in our communities. #ATMSGoodDeedWeek #SpreadJoy #EmpathyInAction #TogetherWeCan #CommunitySupport #ActsOfKindness #PositiveImpact #GivingBack #StrengthInUnity #HumanityFirst #MakingADifference #NGOVisits #ATMSCommunity #InspiringChange #atms
