For the second consecutive year, Goodwill Manasota hosted Congressman Vern Buchanan and the 2024 Service Academy Fair this past Saturday!
The Service Academy Fair provided an informational program held for FL-16 constituents interested in attending a U.S. service academy. We want to thank Vern Buchanan and the academy representatives for providing valuable resources and guidance to those interested in pursuing a path through a U.S. service academy🌟
Two sessions to choose from! These sessions are a great opportunity to meet our current apprentices, and team members that originally commenced their employment as an apprentice.
Come and learn about your career opportunities at QAL.

Here's a fantastic story of how an apprenticeship shaped this young women's life.
Apprenticeships are probably the best way to earn while you learn with absolutely no cost to the apprentice BUT they are not the only way to get into the trades.
Trades schools and On-The-Job (OTJ) Training are also pathways. As a matter of fact, my career started entirely with OTJ training and eventually some formal education later on.
This is how we Bring Back the Trades, Inc !

"But I went to this apprenticeship school for electricians, and I found that it was far more fascinating and $100,000 cheaper." https://bit.ly/3ND01J0#IBEW
