“The patient experience was at the core of the planning and design process. Whether the client visits the clinic for a consultation, a surgical procedure, or to make purchases in the boutique, every detail has been carefully considered to provide a positive experience.” – Véronique Chayer, associate/president, FOLIO DESIGN inc. Ensuring maximum comfort to ease the stress of certain surgical procedures was essential to the Innovation Clinic design. The Folio Design team created a tunnel-like effect leading visitors to the central reception, with the waiting area intentionally set apart to create a sense of intimacy. The building's wood structure guided the material and color palette. The selection of finishes was crucial and directly tied to maintaining hygiene standards.
