Yeah, it is refreshing to see that not all corporate culture films genuinely don't suck. Welldone Bolt, for this revitalizing employer branding ad, rich in style and energy. Extra kuddos on the green theme, stylish details and voice over choice. #advertising #employerbranding #marketing
Bolt turned 10. 🎂 I've been at Bolt for 3 years, which is just 30% of its lifetime. But it's long enough to understand how on Earth we worked our way up from a small Estonian underdog into a superapp with 150+ million customers in 500+ cities in Europe and Africa... in one of the most competitive industries out there. It's the people. And the culture they create. *** Check out our new video to see how we work. Also, we have 250 open roles on https://lnkd.in/dCasYe54 🚀 *** Video credits: Yenani Madikwa Anna Selecka Kadi Poll Grete Kivi Taaniel Malleus and Münchhausen Productions #citiesforpeople #Bolt

Happy Monday! Hello Modash! ✨ So what happened after I left Bolt? Avery and Modash stole my heart. Heh? What is Modash? How??? I got really inspired after I met Avery, the CEO. He invited me for a coffee and free food in LinkedIn, "Ok, why not" I thought? As I had heard about him before, so I was simply curious to meet him. That's it. 🤷♀️ So we met, and conversation started flowing - I interviewed him, he interviewed me but it felt more like genuine chat about life, goals, Modash and also, recruitment. And suddenly 2h had passed! 👀 I didn't have any expectations before the meeting, but left super inspired and full of energy that Tuesday evening. Like they say, people forget what you say but people will never forget how made them feel. After the meeting, I felt "I could work with him; seems humble but crazy ambitious same time". 🤔 4 things I learned: 🔥 Modash is scaling fast but the team is small = a lot of work in recruitment to build it up = HELL YES, I like to scale and have crazy targets, never been the first one in the team. Scary but so exciting! 🤑 It's a profitable company, and has a lot of customers. 1300+ marketing teams globally use it today = earned my trust that it's probably not gonna die in the next 6 months like many start-ups. 💪 The founders have worked the last 6+ years on this without giving up while competing with bigger platforms but it only made them focus on important features harder = now they have the best influencer discovery tool in the world. It's well thought through product, Willi Wiedergold and team make sure we build the right things. 🏄♀️ Oh, and it's remote first company, with an office in Tallinn = I can combine surfing with working, but still continue having a home-base in Estonia. And I think to me, the point of the story is that good things happen when you don’t expect, and I feel joining Modash is one of those cases. 🤗 TLDR: Coming from a team of 60 recruiters and 4k employees at Bolt, I took a leap into the unknown, and joined Modash, 1. recruiter, company of 40 people. Exciting!!!🔥 Wish me luck (and join us)! ✨

Working in Bolt has been like a roller coaster. In the most positive way. When I joined the company 4.5 years ago, I signed up for a lot of hustling and personal growth. I worked with exceptional people, and learned so much about where to focus on to make a tech startup a success. When I joined the company, I was lucky to set up many "first-ever" processes and approaches in the company that is now recognised as one of the largest tech companies in Europe. From setting up the first-ever budgeting process in Bolt, to surviving covid with 85% our volume disappearing, to growing the vertical from €1B to multi-multi billion valuation - it's been a crazy journey and I got all the hustle I went after for. Not to mention, growing from Analyst to Director within 3 years in such a large-scale company was something that I didn't anticipate at first, but which illustrates this whole experience so well - give your all to the world, and the world gives that all back to you. However, all journeys are meant to end at some moment. I have decided to exit my role as the Director of Business Analytics in Bolt. I'm thankful for anyone with whom I've been lucky to work together during this time - my team, our amazing country teams, the management, and cross-functional teams. You know exactly who you are, and all my biggest gratitude goes to you. What's next? First, I'm taking proper time off to recharge. Health is the first priority that everyone should take seriously, and a good rest makes miracles. After that? Multiple ideas. It could be doubling down on my own tech startup as I've always dreamt of, (re-)joining some exciting mission within a great company, giving back to the startup community with mentoring/advisory/investing, or scaling up some existing and new passions. One thing I miss immediately is collaborating with talented people who want to change the world. If you have big ambitions that sometimes sound insane, are great in business or especially on the technical side (engineering, product) and looking for people to think along - ping me a message! Great people can really change the world, and thinking together might fast-track it quite a bit.

It's been 1 month since I've seen Scott Robertson in person 😮 Between my Bali trip and his Euros trip to Germany we're really living it up 🏝⚽😛 And all whilst Focus Recruitment has been having one of it's busiest months, as we continue to help #tech companies scale their #sales teams 🚀 Looking forward to having you back in the office Monday Scott! We're going straight into a killer week for week 1 of the New FY but I'm sure we'll slot in story time somehow 😅 #TechSales #Recruiter #SalesRecruitment #Tech #SaaS #FinTech

Being an immigrant feels like running a 100m race against Usain Bolt, starting with a 5-second delay. Here's what I've learned from the experience. My adventure started in Brazil, led me across the globe to countries like Canada, Germany, Austria, Indonesia and Portugal, and eventually brought me to the frontier of Web3. Every step of my journey has been an intense lesson in adapting, learning, and thriving in new environments. The thrill of being in a new country, the confusion of navigating a different language, the excitement of immersing in a new culture - each country was a world of its own. But the adventure didn't come without its challenges. At times, I felt like I was competing in a 100m race against Usain Bolt, but starting with a 5-second delay. This feeling was especially present when I arrived in Germany. A country where I landed without money, friends, a job, or even language skills. However, I was able to find a silver lining. These experiences pushed me out of my comfort zone and provided me with valuable insights, which helped me immensely as an entrepreneur and consultant. Here are the 5 things I wouldn't have learned without taking those steps in the dark: 1️⃣ Embrace Your Inner Immigrant Every new environment is a fresh start, a new challenge. Embrace the struggle and grow with it. 2️⃣ Appreciate the Small Wins Even the smallest opportunities can lead to the biggest achievements. 3️⃣ Be a Global Citizen Learn from each culture you encounter, gain wisdom and perspective. 4️⃣ Stay Curious Never stop learning, especially in the fast-paced world of Web3. 5️⃣ Share a Smile Humor transcends borders. Share a meme, make someone's day! What have you learned through your struggles? LFGrow #RightClickSaveAs

Why won't people come back to the office? We have a simple solution at Stasher... Don't swim against the tide and find a way to make it work for you. The outcome is that we allow near 100% WFH and prioritize hiring remotely. It 100x's the potential hiring pool and typically means that, for a given salary, we fill roles with better/more senior candidates, faster. You lose a bit of that in-office spirit, it's true, but the productivity of the right hire matters so much more. We then try to get together regularly to keep that "in-person" vibe... So, the European contingent of the Stasher team worked from Ericeira this week, had some great team presentations/strategy planning sessions and caught some waves too. We're overfunding on Seedrs, join the round at seedrs.com/stasher. Who else is operating remote/hybrid? Comment how you manage it below :)

𝑳𝒐𝒚𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒚 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆: 𝑫𝒊𝒅 𝒊𝒕 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒗𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒔𝒉, 𝒐𝒓 𝒅𝒊𝒅 𝒘𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒅 𝒊𝒕? Remember the good ol' days when people practically grew roots at their company? Yeah, those times seem kinda distant these days. Headlines are all about layoffs, unicorn startups disappearing faster than a magician's rabbit, and let's not even get me started on some seriously toxic office cultures So, is loyalty dead in the workplace? Maybe not entirely, but it definitely needs a makeover. Think about it - loyalty is a two-way street, right? For us, the employees: We deserve to feel valued, not like a cog in a giant money-making machine. Companies that invest in our growth, pay us fairly, and actually care about our well-being? Those are the places worth sticking around for. But employers gotta do their part too! Stop treating us like yesterday's news the moment a new "hotshot" applicant walks in. Invest in your people, create a workplace that doesn't make us want to crawl under our desks, and maybe, just maybe, loyalty won't feel like such a forgotten concept. Here's the thing: We all played a part in this shift. We got caught up in short-term gains, both sides. Now, let's rebuild that trust and create a work environment where loyalty can actually thrive. Employees: Seek out companies that treat their people like...well, people! Employers: Make your workplace somewhere amazing people actually want to stay. By working together and focusing on the long game, we can build a future where loyalty isn't just a nostalgic memory, but a key ingredient to success for everyone. #LoyaltyMakeover #WorkplaceVibes #BuildingTrust #FutureOfWork #Linkedin #employee #employer #corporateworld #companies #trustissues #managers #teams #colleague
