After having let it lapse a few years ago, I am once again a certified CISSP. Hoping to keep it active this time so I don't have to go through that test again!

Very excited to join Team Dutchie today to help lead their engineering team. They were super thoughtful and decided to host an R&D leadership offsite on my first week so I could meet the crew. Thank you to Tim Barash and Chris Ostrowski for putting your trust in me. And thank you to John Kelleher for responding to my email when I reached out looking for opportunities; it’s great to be working together again! Here’s to the next adventure!

10 years ago today, I started at HubSpot. Back then, the entire engineering team was something close to 50 people. We all fit in 2 rooms in the Davenport (with a very small team in Dublin). Over the last 10 years, we have exploded in size growing to thousands of people spread across nearly 10 countries. What a journey it has been. Thank you to Larry Bohn for the introduction to HubSpot and to David Cancel and Elias Torres ⚡️ for reaching out to me. Thank you to JD Sherman and Brian Halligan for taking a chance on me. I remember my first days coming into the office and sitting down and having someone slip into the desk behind me without saying a word and realizing I was sitting right next to Dharmesh Shah . Thank you to Brad Coffey for the first years of partnership. I still remember BH turning to us and saying “Don’t F’ it up.” I think we succeeded. =) Thank you to Whitney Sorenson , Christopher O'Donnell , and Libby Maurer for being amazing partners as we went through tremendous growth (as people, as a team, as a product). There were so many challenges and learnings. I think those days were my favorite. Thank you to the entire DubSpot team for embracing me. I loved every minute over there and have an incredibly soft spot in my heart for you all. And then I took a big pivot over into the CISO role. Thank you to John Kelleher and Nicholas Knoop for being a partners here as we looked to push on the concept of Customer Trust and thank you to Yamini Rangan for caring so much about Customer Trust and watching every single one of my (too long) Looms I sent. I am very proud of what we have been able to accomplish in the last 3 1/2 years. We have come a long way. Thank you to Katie Burke for pushing and challenging me at every step along the way. There are so many other people to thank, but I am not going to try since I will absolutely miss too many people. (Note: Not an ACTUAL picture of me on my first day — but a good representation of what it felt like.)
