Those of you who know me better know that this kind of post does not come easy for me. I'm usually the one facilitating and bringing together folks that need a helping hand and folks that can lend a helping hand. I'm usually the quieter one in groups, to a point that sometimes not able to contribute as much, as there's no "opening" in the flow. I'm definitely not overstating my accomplishments. I'm letting my results do the talking. I'm not crossing the line of embellishing my resume to have a better chance. I see this as dishonest and an affront to potential employers and the absolute wrong way to start a relationship. I know that I'm not good at networking: platitudes and small talk are not me. I know that I'm not good at marketing: I need to be able to send a message. And for that there needs a recipient. Marketing is into the void. This leaves me at an disadvantage in my job search. I am aware of this. Still, I can't be not me. I have been trying to solve this for too long. I'm running out of time. Hence this post. I need your help: I'm looking for a Sr. Data Scientist / Machine Learning opportunity preferably remote or in the Seattle area. What I'm asking for are introductions to folks in your network that are looking to fill a role like this. Thank you.
