Thank you Los Angeles Times for spotlighting the anticipation around our newest restaurant at the Downtown Disney District in Anaheim.
Our first standalone restaurant, designed in partnership with Rockwell Group, features a traditional Chinese pavilion rooftop and a dumpling expo kitchen, giving diners a front-row seat to the art of dumpling-making. Din Tai Fung EVP Aaron Yang expressed excitement about bringing Asian-focused dining to the area, marking a significant chapter for the restaurant.
To celebrate the opening, we will release our first-ever apparel collection and donate $50,000 to the CHOC Foundation to support youth health and wellness. We are honored to be part of the evolving culinary landscape at Disneyland Resort and look forward to serving guests from around the world beginning July 1!

Our team, the TrailBlaz3ers, is partnering with Camillus House to offer 145 formerly homeless families greater health, stability, and independence.
We are creating a community garden at Camillus House’s Verde Gardens permanent supportive housing facility located in Homestead.
Through our efforts, we are looking to achieve the following:
1. Build and sustain a nutritious, long lasting, community garden for present and future families who live at Verde Gardens. It will grow vegetables and herbs chosen by the residents, encourage healthy eating, serve as a therapeutic area, and give ownership to the families by involving them in its creation and continuation.
2. Educate families on how to maintain a garden and replicate it on their own. We will create an educational component that enhances their knowledge on healthy eating and cooking.
3. Engage the local community through working with local colleges, at risk youth, and the families that currently live at the Camillus House.
These efforts will require fundraising. Our goal is $25,000. We are asking those who are willing to donate the following items in kind:
● Aluminum garden beds (8 needed) 65 x 37 x 27.5 in
● 64 cubic feet of composted soil/mulch

● Wood materials to build for the raising beds
We are also seeking monetary donations at https://lnkd.in/epA5GqPy, or a check can be made to the South Florida Progress Foundation, with Team #3 in the memo line.
Checks can be mailed to or dropped off at: 1 SE 3rd Avenue, Suite 1410, Miami, FL, 33131. Donations are tax deductible and we offer multiple sponsorship levels for monetary donations and in kind equivalent values:

Meet David Aleksanyan from Arsenal Eco Pavers and Arsenal Catering Group.
David is the epitome of the American Dream. After immigrating from Russia, David became a serial entrepreneur. He was in a car business. Then, jumped into the food industry, starting FLAME CAFE in downtown Boston which was serving authentic Greek and Armenian food. Then he turned FLAME CAFE into a catering company called Arsenal Catering Group. When the pandemic hit, David put the brakes on his catering business and taught himself all about Eco-friendly Paving Solutions with TrueGrid.
TrueGrid pavers are 100% permeable. They absorb stormwater with zero runoff, can withstand heavy use, and are easy to install. They are modular, naturally attractive with gravel or grass fill, and sustainable.
He started Arsenal Eco Pavers in 2020 and is New England’s only TrueGrid Stocking Dealer and Preferred Installer. He is distributing, selling, and installing TrueGrid Eco Pavers. YOU can help the environment and your property in the process. Hit up aresenalecopavers.com
Meanwhile, the world came back after the pandemic, David re-ignited Arsenal Catering Group. He and his catering team are back, serving businesses and organizations for corporate lunches and events. So hit up aresenalcatering.com for all of your catering needs.

How Sam leveraged Dishef to unlock fresh and lucrative revenue streams for his established commercial kitchen space. A case study.
In July 2022, Sam Johnson, a kitchen owner in Charlotte, connected with Dishefs. Sam's kitchen known as Johnson's SmokeHouse, was an almost brand new and underutilized asset, spanning 10,000 square feet, located in the heart of Charlotte.
Initially hesitant, Sam eventually decided to explore the platform's potential. His kitchen listing garnered immediate interest from operators, drawn to the excellent pictures and prime location. He received numerous requests to see the place and discuss potential collaborations. Recognizing the opportunity, he decided to divide the kitchen space to accommodate multiple food makers.
Within the next six months, Sam successfully onboarded three clients into his kitchen through the Dishefs platform. He stated, “Dishefs bought us some breathing space. With catering down, the money we received from these operators alleviated the financial pressure.”
Sam's initial fears about using the platform were quickly dispelled. He found that Dishefs allowed him to maintain control over the conversation, enabling him to set his own terms and reject any deal that didn't align with his business. He said, “Nothing was forced on us, and that was a relief.”
One of the key advantages Sam appreciated was the ease with which he could distil conversations into actual deal points, making negotiations straightforward. He also valued the flexibility of short-term deals, enabling him to evaluate working with different food makers before committing to a long-term partnership.
Dishefs' customer service proved to be exceptional, supporting Sam throughout the process. He believed that the platform's focus on good people led to positive negotiations and smooth interactions.
By utilizing Dishefs' collaborative technology, Sam managed to unlock new revenue streams for his existing kitchen space without making any physical improvements or incurring broker's fees. This represented a paradigm shift in the restaurant rental industry, facilitating connections and partnerships.
Despite initial concerns about potential conflicts or mismanagement, Sam found that all the food makers using his kitchen were highly professional and respectful of the space and equipment. They all adhered to the agreements in good spirits, and any necessary flexibility from Sam's end was met with understanding and positivity.
In conclusion, Dishefs provided a game-changing solution for kitchen owners like Sam, enabling them to maximize their unused assets and connect with food makers seamlessly and productively. This collaborative platform opened up new possibilities and revenue streams without needing any upfront investment or traditional brokerages, making it a valuable asset in the modern culinary landscape.

Construction on Camden Park continues as this aerial view shows progress on the food and beverage pavilion, which will be the home of the onsite restaurant, Sunday Press. Sunday Press, will be patterned after a similar concept in Oak Forest. The restaurant will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner — offering counter-service with a menu designed to appeal to those living and working nearby. They curate healthy food options, fresh baked goods, daily brunch and house-made syrups for a full coffee experience. There will be air-conditioned, indoor seating at Sunday Press, in addition to outdoor seating. Sunday Press will offer a wine and beer menu, allowing adults to take their food and beverages upstairs to the covered sky terrace.
The park will feature a 16,000-square-foot activity lawn with a multi-purpose pavilion for free concerts and cultural performances, a children's play area, enclosed dog park (one for small pups and one for larger dogs). The park will offer an outdoor reading room with books, exercise stations, space for food trucks and farmers market vendors, plus restrooms.
Camden Park is on a 3.4-acre parcel of land, located at 2951 Wilcrest Drive, and will be Westchase District's largest park and a destination for all of west Houston when it opens in 2025.

We love this time of year - when the early birds start putting up their Christmas lights and the supermarket shelves are stuffed with festive goodies.
If you're already feeling super Christmassy, the Chatsworth House Christmas Market is well worth a visit. It is open every day with 150 wonderful stalls, including Halfpenny Green Wine Estate, Freda's Peanut Butter, and Bexton Cheese - along with some gorgeous cockle-warming hot food and drink stalls (mulled wine and a hot pork roll - yes please!) 🔥🍖 Hitting the news this week was details of the new BBQ restaurant, Orleans Smokehouse, which Mitchells & Butlers PLC will be opening in Solihull on 19 February. What makes this launch even more fascinating is the fact that just one week later, Hickorys Smokehouse will be opening a new site in Earlswood, just 2.5 miles away from the inaugural Orleans Smokehouse site. 🏠👀
It’s easy to understand why M&B are keen to enter the smokehouse market. Average Transaction Values at Hickory’s are c.50% higher than those achieved at Harvester, and whilst the average visit frequency for Orleans Smokehouse may end up being slightly lower than the site achieved as a Harvester, the Average Customer Value per year should be significantly higher. We’ve seen time and again that consumers are prepared to pay for great experiences, and Hickory’s is a brand which absolutely delivers when it comes to “Value for Experience.” 💷🌟
A recent visit to Hickory’s Smokehouse in Derby (pictured) was one of my hospitality highlights of 2023 – incredible food, brilliant atmosphere and one of the best family-friendly hospitality environments we’ve experienced. It's easy to see why Hickory's is such a destination venue, and my 4-year-old daughter absolutely loved the fact that there was popcorn on arrival, a cinema room to keep her entertained while we waited for food and a great outdoor play area as well! 🎥🍿👨👩👧👦
It will be fascinating to see how these two new sites perform. M&B are very much the follower here, with Hickory’s achieving great success as a brand since its launch nearly 15 years ago. Having the new kid on the block and the established operator both opening in the same local market will make for some interesting analysis….something that I’ll be taking a look at using the Site Intel Pro online platform from Hospitality Data Insights (HDI)
Feel free to get in touch if you’d like to understand more about the types of analysis that we can do looking at individual local markets and/or sites in-detail. 📊🔍
