Candidate: When I was in junior high......., and then in high school, I.......my kids did xyz........, and in college this happened...., then I learned that..., so I was sitting in a cubicle..., so he said this and she said that and I thought this..., .......................................... ____________________________________________________ TL/DR Getting a phone screen is what we are all after. It's short. Spend the time wisely. 👎 If you spend 15 minutes on a soliloquy without taking a breath making it a conversation, chances are the recruiter isn't going to get to all of the important information. 👍 Instead, answer the question and stay on point.
