When I started my first company two years ago, we had one goal: Talk to customers, identify their problems, and turn our learnings into a product as quickly as possible. But our strategy and processes were all over the place until we started using Notion. We tried other solutions but ended up with a fragmented knowledge base.   We missed things and duplicated work. Tomorrow I'll be running our workshop on AI & No-Code for Start-ups and Scale-ups for portfolio companies of HearstLab. Startup founders and operators shouldn't sleep on the multiple opportunities AI and no-code offer to build their company. It looks like YCombinator's most recent batches already got the AI memo - and some startups have successfully managed to take advantage of the no-code opportunity. Still, so few. Big mistake? Time will tell. For now, I'll continue to paint it as a big opportunity to stand out on the execution side. Pivoting has become a statement of our culture at Prosperous AI. It's almost surreal to reflect on how our initial concept has evolved into the solutions we now offer in client environments today. The adage "you don't know what you don't know" really hits every day. Embracing this uncertainty with humility has kept me focused and open to new perspectives. Myself and Co-founders have adopted a scientist's mindset– continually hypothesizing, experimenting, and learning from market feedback. While foundational thinking has its merits, pivoting is standard in our practice. Startups that pivot once or twice tend to raise 2.5X more capital, experience 3.6X better user growth, and are 52% more likely to succeed in their ventures. February was the first anniversary of our startup I was fortunate to join Alle-AI last year as a project manager ( in the beginning) but now a CMO : ) - I had no idea about coding - no idea on Generative AI - no idea on pitching - no idea about investor decks - zero interview skills - zero idea on how to reach out to investors The overall startup journey has been a build-up. I can boldly say now I am expert in most of the stuff listed above. (Working with a passionate team is a big blow for a startup). The journey has been tough - yes but worth it? Yes! Start that business.
