Why do so many marketing leaders skip the strategy phase? Perhaps it’s impatience or perhaps it's thinking they already know the answers. These assumptions are the termites of business. Challenging and refining those assumptions is the role of strategy. So, pause. Take a step back. Before you go pitching to the masses or spending all on ads, sit down with your team. Define your narrative. Understand the landscape. Identify your audience. Craft a message that's uniquely tailored to them. Get clear on your objectives.
