To me, here's the two most exciting pieces from Olivia's announcement: 🤯 Starting today, Box AI for Documents, Notes, and Hubs (now in beta) will offer unlimited end-user querying included in Enterprise Plus 💥 All-new Box AI for Metadata API: This enables developers to integrate Box AI with custom applications and automatically extract key information from documents at scale. When combined with Box’s workflow automation tools, customers will be able to automate processes based on file metadata, extract key fields from unstructured content, and save information to external applications such as Salesforce.

White Castle are trailing using AI for their drive-thru ordering. It's in these tiny, uninteresting applications of AI that companies will surge ahead of their competition. Who wants staff to stand at the drive-thru booth and receive customer orders all day? Not the staff who finds it boring and repetitive, and not the employer who has to pay them for this work. This is exactly the kinds of applications that I push for with my clients. AI doesn't have to be this "big bang" stuff. The best applications of AI are the simplest.
