It is exciting to see the recent publication of the first performance recommendations for blood-based biomarker (BBM) tests by CEOi - Global CEO Initiative on Alzheimer's Disease. This manuscript, “The Global CEO Initiative on Alzheimer’s Disease performance recommendations for blood-based biomarker tests,” was created by leading experts in the field and is now available in Nature Reviews Neurology.  Given their accessibility and affordability compared to other tools, BBMs offer the potential to improve equity in Alzheimer’s care.
