The Ute, Arapaho, and Cheyenne people lived in the mountains of Winter Park Resort and the Fraser Valley, long before today’s residents and tourists arrived. Today, Winter Park Resort has embarked on an effort to educate skiers and snowboarders about the fuller history of the area with new trail markers, historical plaques, and art projects, each designed in partnership with the organization NativesOutdoors. Sadly, Alterra allows its partners, like Boyne, to disregard human rights, to discriminate freely, and to harass those who speak up. When will Alterra and it's DEI leader Annie Kao stop the hypocrisy?
