Just 𝐔𝐍𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐕𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐄 — Two days ago, "Lucas Gage", a far-right neo-Nazi made headlines in Brick, New Jersey, where he was seen stabbing the Israeli flag while issuing a threat: “death to Jewish supremacy.” Pre-October 7, such vile hate speech would have been widely condemned. Yet, post-October 7, the landscape now tolerates such behavior. And I somehow feel I need to stress this again, this is New Jersey, United States 2024, not Nazi Germany 1941. For all you know, many other "Lucas Gages" are your own next-door neighbors. — And I don't blame Gage, he's an antisemite, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐈 𝐝𝐨 𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮. You who have seen our cries on social media. You who have dismissively waved this off as some Middle Eastern crisis. You who have allowed this behavior to foster on American college campuses. You with your "contexts." — For 9 months we have screamed our lungs out, saying "Antisemitism is here." There's been a 400% rise in antisemitic incidents in Western countries, and you do NOTHING. You kept scrolling, you wouldn't even share our cries, thinking "Meh, what do I have to do with this issue?" — EVERYTHING. — I am not angry with our politicians — I expect very little from them, I am talking about YOU, the people, looking at this post. I expected antisemitism to be condemned and fought against by you. From the ground up. — You heard them chanting "From the river to the sea," and you did nothing. You heard them chanting "Intifada," and you did nothing. You allowed this antisemitism to grow in your streets, campuses and online. Now the Jews will have to pay the price for your naivety. — Look at where we're at, where a growing number of neo-Nazi extremists now find it "trendy" to align with antisemitic sentiments under the guise of anti-Israel rhetoric. But.... did anyone see the mob giving 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞 gestures? — In early November 2023, the 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞 emerged as a symbol that signifies support for Palestinian resistance against Israel. It is used both offline and online, sometimes in the form of an emoji 🔻 — The symbol first appeared in propaganda videos promoted by the al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, which showed footage of Hamas terrorists attacking Israeli targets.
