- [Instructor] One of the sales channels we didn't talk about is the Shopify Point of Sales solution, also called Shopify POS. If you have experience with retail you probably know what a POS system is. If you aren't familiar with POS systems they're what you use to enter orders and accept payment in a brick and mortar store. The Shopify POS system does just that, and it's built by Shopify to integrate perfectly with your store. So as you make sales online or in store the inventory is synced and you won't ever sell something online that was just purchased in your store. It also manages customers and orders across sales channels. So if I buy something in store and then a year later I buy an accessory online, Shopify will know I bought both of those items.
