- Let me ask you something. What would you be willing to pay to get a qualified visitor to your website? I'm going to show you the different ways that you pay the search engine to run your ads and selecting keywords, we bid on them. Multiple advertisers want the same terms so they compete by bidding how much they are willing to pay the search engine to display their ads. However, not all bidding options are the same. There are three different paid search bidding options you can choose from based on the goal of your business. First, if your goal is to get people to your website then you'll use CPC or cost per click. In cost per click, you only pay the search engine when someone clicks your ad.
