Virtual storytelling

Virtual storytelling

“Once upon a time.” Children love hearing those words because it meant they were going to hear a story. And it's no different with adults. Your audience loves stories. Stories engage their emotions, keep their attention and entertain. But how do you tell stories? Virtually. Great presenters are storytellers. After this lesson, you'll be able to tell a concise story or case study that's clear and makes a point. First, keep it brief. A speaker on a stage can take more liberties with time. The audience expects to hear a well-crafted story with UPS and downs, twists and turns. While most stories follow the hero's journey structure, a virtual presenter will need to condense the story. A story doesn't have to be long. You can embed customer testimonial stories or company case studies and deliver them in literally minutes. And it takes good structure. Here is a format or a template that will help you tell a brief story and stay on message. Remember the acronym CAR It stands for Challenge…
