- Your friend sends you a link, and you click it. It opens up in your browser. You likely look around a little before you dig in. You start to think to yourself, "What site is this? What is this page even about? Okay, it's an article. I likely should read it, but should I read it now or save it for later? Hmm. How long is the article? Okay, not that long. Let's read a bit and then decide." As you are having that conversation with yourself, you're likely engaging in some pretty typical behaviors. You likely look around the page a little to see what site the article is on. Your eye is drawn to the main heading or the large graphics that go with the article. Maybe your eye jumps around a little distracted by those ads, but you come back to the main article. You start in and read the intro.
