Workday / HealthStream Instructional Designer

Our healthcare client in the Northeast is looking to engage a Workday / HealthStream Instructional Designer for the 6-months, with potential for contract-to-hire. This 100% remote contract opportunity would begin immediately.

Responsibilities

• Acts as project manager and lead designer of cutting edge, engaging, and state-of-the art, learning solutions and experiences utilizing industry standard applications, tools and pedagogy to both drive learner autonomy, engagement, and retention AND meets legal and regulatory requirements.
• Serves as a leader, mentor, and resource within and outside the department including both clinical and non-clinical departments, system-wide, on program development, learning strategies, learning experience, adult learning theory, use of learning technologies to meet organizational and departmental goals, content development, and measurement including impact, ROI, behavior change.
• Acts as department subject matter expert and administrator for Workday learning management system.
• Responds to escalated help desk issues as needed.
• Consults on learning optimization strategies via the Workday LMS
  
  

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in education, communications or related field, or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree in instructional design, education, or related field (Preferred)
• 8 + years of instructional design related work and managerial/leadership experience, with a focus on Workday and / or HealthStream
• Prior experience and knowledge of best practices in the areas of workplace learning and instructional technology.
• Expertise and competency in the areas of instructional design and adult learning theory.
• Must possess excellent skill at building rapport with clients at all levels, demonstrate relationships are value-added for the client and organization and that the trust built facilitates the exchange of candid and productive feedback.
• Adept at gathering information through probing and listening and gleaning the salient points from the facts presented.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Articulate 360 or comparable video production and digital authoring tools.
