As a global Enterprise B2B Digital Commerce leader, Spryker is looking for a seasoned Vice President of Sales for North America to spearhead our sales and GTM initiatives and expand our footprint in the North American enterprise market. Reporting directly to the CRO, the ideal candidate will bring a strong software/SaaS sales background, strategic & business acumen, and a robust understanding of the modern, value realization oriented enterprise sales environment. This role demands a visionary leader capable of hiring and driving a high-performance sales team, optimizing sales operations, and cultivating enduring relationships with key stakeholders.

YOUR CHALLENGES & OPPORTUNITIES

Strategic Vision and Leadership

  • Craft and implement a comprehensive sales and GTM strategy that resonates with Spryker’s vision, mission, and business objectives.
  • Build, lead, inspire, and oversee a top-tier sales team to surpass sales targets.
  • Dynamically scale an efficient sales organization to adapt to changing market needs and opportunities.

Enterprise Sales Ownership

  • Apply consultative, solution-oriented, and value-driven selling techniques to engage with major enterprises.
  • Propel the sales of sophisticated, high-value use cases, platform, and products across diverse sectors, aligning with client requirements.

Enterprise Ecosystem Led Growth

  • Apply a collaborative approach to ecosystem-led growth within the US region.
  • Work closely with our global partner sales team to drive a collaborative, partner-led GTM motion.

Sales Operations and Process Optimization

  • Enhance sales procedures, tools, and technologies to boost team efficiency and output.
  • Oversee rigorous sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance metrics.
  • Utilize sales analytics to discern trends, predict future outcomes, and refine strategies.

Team Building and Talent Management

  • Attract, nurture, and retain elite sales professionals, promoting a culture of excellence and ongoing development.
  • Develop and implement robust training and coaching programs to elevate team skills.
  • Foster a client-focused team ethos, ensuring superior customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Executive Stakeholder Mapping, Account Planning, and Negotiation Skills

  • Forge and sustain strong connections with customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Implement account planning motions across large-scale complex accounts.
  • Lead sophisticated contract negotiations, securing lucrative agreements while maintaining profitable, long-term partnerships.
  • Enhance and grow strategic accounts, deepening client engagement and driving sustained business expansion.

OUR EXPECTATIONS

  • You are a transformative leader with a proven track record in scaling sales operations within the software/SaaS sector. As a strategic thinker, you have a knack for building stellar teams and crafting enduring customer relationships. Exhibit extensive knowledge of the enterprise sales process, encompassing intricate decision-making and stakeholder management.
  • You have a proven success record of selling complex (abstract) products like Spryker, closing large enterprise clients within a Software and/or commerce environment, and utilizing a consultative, value-based selling approach.
  • Have demonstrated experience selling to senior executives (VP, C-Level).
  • You are intellectually curious, constantly challenging the status quo and researching topics.
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and perceive change positively.
  • You are always looking to innovate and interested in AI and automation.
