Optomi, in partnership with a premier client in the telecommunications field, is seeking a talented UX Designer with specialized experience in native iOS application design. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a dynamic and innovative environment.
This role is seeking applicants in the Greater Dallas OR Atlanta areas for local collaboration sessions as needed. This role is designated primarily as remote.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and designers to create intuitive, user-centric experiences for native iOS applications.
Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate and enhance user interfaces.
Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
Work closely with development teams to ensure design specifications are implemented accurately.
Maintain design consistency across platforms and ensure adherence to UX best practices.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in mobile app design and user experience.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing native iOS applications.
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
Solid understanding of iOS human interface guidelines, design principles, and patterns.
Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating findings into actionable design improvements.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Nice to Have:
Experience in the telecommunications industry or with large-scale enterprise applications.
Familiarity with agile development processes and working in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative and innovative team environment.
