As a Foresight Therapy Leader you will provide leadership to therapists by:

  • Maintaining and communicating updated knowledge of company policies and procedures, standards of care, and current issues regarding legal, ethical, and crisis management strategies relevant to the profession.
  • Actively participating in the recruitment of Therapists, primarily during the interview phase of the process.
  • Creating opportunities for and monitoring efforts to ensure new hire success, including welcome calls prior to start and participating in onboarding process.
  • Building effective relationships with your team through regular group and 1:1 meetings designed to motivate and engage therapists and create clarity of expectations and performance optimization.
  • Monitoring caseloads to ensure therapists are meeting session requirements.
  • Facilitating consultation groups and encouraging regular participation by your team.
  • Ensuring therapists meet performance standards, including KPIs, utilization/productivity, and documentation. Where performance gaps are identified, as a therapy leader you will communicate constructive feedback in 1:1s and in writing (i.e., performance agreement) to ensure improvement.
  • Working with People & Culture in situations where therapist performance does not meet expectations and following appropriate corrective action.
  • Conducting annual performance evaluations and compensation reviews.
  • Reviewing and approving PTO requests and timesheets, including monitoring overuse/underuse of PTO.

Therapy Leaders At Foresight Also

  • Facilitate therapy, maintaining a small caseload, providing attuned psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families.
  • Participate in ad hoc consultation with therapists regarding ethical situations/questions, best practices, and risk mitigation.
  • Attend company meetings and team conferences; facilitating meetings as required.
  • Post relevant information in and monitor designated Google Chat spaces for their team.
  • Embody our core values and promote our culture, serving as a role model for their teams.
  • Lead through positivity and serve as “change champions,” supporting and providing clarity/understanding regarding key clinical and business initiatives.
  • In conjunction with the Quality Assurance team, which conducts audits, monitors and ensures completion of required tasks associated with auditing of all forms, and develops performance objectives for therapists experiencing challenges with documentation.

  • Competitive Compensation: $95,000-$115,000/year based on location and experience

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a Therapy Leader who is truly passionate about leading through positivity, supporting a healthy organization culture, and serving as a change champion. An effective Therapy Leader demonstrates self-awareness, emotional intelligence, resilience, and strong communication skills. We value forward-thinking professionals who are eager to improve access to care and stay at the forefront of the mental health field.

The Right Candidate Must

  • Be available 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM, PST
    • Hours may fluctuate depending on department need
  • Be an active, independent California Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Clinical Psychologist (PsyD).
  • Be licensed for at least 2 years, with a minimum of one year of experience in a supervisory role in a clinical setting.
  • Have new therapist training experience for protocols and clinical processes to ensure quality of care.
  • Not have opted out from Medicare (though we do NOT require our providers to see Medicare patients).
  • Have access to reliable and stable internet while working remotely; experience with Google Suite is a plus!
