Systems Designer

Overview: We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Systems Designer to join our team. Roles And Responsibilities

• System Design and Architecture:
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to understand requirements and objectives.
• Design end-to-end systems and solutions architecture that aligns with business goals and technical requirements.
• Develop high-level and detailed system designs, diagrams, and documentation to communicate architectural decisions and approaches.
• Technical Requirements Analysis:
• Conduct analysis of current systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Define and document functional and non-functional requirements based on business needs and technical constraints.
• Evaluate technology options and make recommendations for tools, frameworks, and platforms to support system architecture.
• Prototyping and Proof of Concept (POC):
• Create prototypes and proof of concepts to validate design concepts, feasibility, and technical solutions.
• Work closely with development teams to implement and iterate on prototypes based on feedback and requirements.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and decision-makers for review and approval.
• System Integration and Deployment:
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of system components and modules.
• Define deployment strategies and environments, including testing, staging, and production environments.
• Conduct system testing, performance testing, and troubleshooting to ensure quality and reliability of deployed systems.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
• Identify potential risks and issues related to system design and implementation.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address identified risks.
• Monitor and evaluate system performance, security, and scalability to proactively address potential issues.
• Documentation and Training:
• Create comprehensive system documentation, including design specifications, technical diagrams, and user guides.
• Provide training and support to technical teams and end-users on system architecture, functionality, and best practices.
• Maintain documentation updates and revisions based on system changes and enhancements.
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience as a Systems Designer, Systems Architect, or similar role designing complex systems.
• Strong understanding of systems architecture, software development methodologies, and integration patterns.
• Proficiency in system design tools and technologies, such as UML, Enterprise Architect, or similar.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience with cloud platforms, microservices architecture, and DevOps practices is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
