System Engineer

Our client, a well-run, stable mid-sized San Francisco law firm consistently on the Best Places to Work lists, is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their team. This is an awesome firm with a supportive, collegial staff, great live/work balance, and very little turnover.

*Note this is for local candidates only. Hybrid schedule - 2-3 days in the downtown SF office.

Job Scope

Architect, administer and troubleshoot all IT systems and provide input on critical business decisions. The Systems Engineer primary role is to administer Microsoft Active Directory and Windows environment across the enterprise. There is definite opportunity to grow and expand this position.

Compensation

• Salary 115-130K, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in supporting technology, preferably in a law firm
• Very experienced with Microsoft’s various enterprise solutions
• Enjoy working with others, excited about using and implementing the latest technology, ability to keep up with the ever-evolving technology landscape.

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Endpoint Management (formerly Intune)
• Microsoft 365 Defender administration
• Office 365 administration
• Exchange Online administration
• Expert level of familiarity with Windows OS
• Azure:

Resource and virtual machine administration

SSO/SAML

Conditional Access Policies

Experience migrating assets on premises to Azure

Ability to become familiar with Azure Backup/SRM and Veeam.

• Mobile Endpoint Management (Intune)
• Attack surface reduction rules
• Microsoft 365 Defender Security Platform (ATP)
• Ability to read and write PowerShell
• Exchange Online administration a plus
